Don't gonna get a new coil and water tank cap before I do any serious miles, don't fancy breakin down again!

yeah 8 miles away! electrical breakdown, had no spark,

Then it started again on the saturday, could be that the coil broke down getting to hot under the seat, gonna cut some vents in and put a new coil in.

Im a bit concerned if im honest - Milton keynes to Bangor is a LONG way! And considering the condition of most of us after the darkside event, i think its best if we shorten the ride!

How about Milton keynes to the Welsh Border! Maybe to Shrewsbury - 114 miles, probably a good 5hour ride when you include stops and possible breakdowns!

Just think Mk to bangor is pushing the limits of ourselves, let alone our scooters!

yh that would be alrite ride up there then maybe see how we feel about going the rest of the way or just set up camp near the border and go to the closest town or sumit

i have faith that i could ride to holly head 1 day then down to essex well i believe my bike could make it but i couldnt

That was the reason for my original suggestion of the alternate route.

If you take into account the crap round Cannock and Wolverhampton it makes it a hard journey, any day of the week.

Hmmi would love to go on to this ride, seen as i live on wattling street, and i live relatively close to Nathan, and could ride down with him, and a friend of mine, how ever i do not think my bike would make it?? my gilera dna has covered 3600 miles, and i have done 2000 miles so far with the malossi mhr rep engine, I'm not convinced it will make it but, i can try.
I suppose if it was to blow up, it would of done by now?? what do you guys think?.
As long as i keep it at about 50 it would be fine, because i wouldn't be full throttling, well seen as my top speed is only 57 on the flat haha, but it is only got stock exhaust hope to hear from you guys soon, errm we need to sort a date out...

Not sure about mine, however have fitted a new plug and cap tonight, and seems to be running ok.
