Long time no post

Well after some serious ebay hunting, I have now found a new project, I have had an offer accepted on this Habana

hardly any miles, and a 4stroke ato, easy riding!

Once I have it home I will post some beter pics.

Plan is to do a drastic auto raT/chop by start of next scooter season.

hi guys...when is mersea....can`t remember must have concusion too. i`m out of plaster cast 30th august so if wrist is up to it will be there.

Got the habana home last night and what a peach! no miles one owner 9months Mot, keys still got dealer fobs and spare still had safty sleve on, org handbook and tool kit! was a fucking steal!


So once i'm taxed and insured! Ill be back on the scene peeps just in time for mersea!!!!

Well given the scoot a good once over today and all is not brilliantly peachy!

Exhaust is blowing from wher it goes in2 silencer, and quite a bit!
Will need a new spark plug after 11years and oil change and air filter change!

went to change oil and the sump bolt has ceased and looks like someone has already had a crack at it! very round so will have to chisel it out

also have to take the whlole back end off to get at plug!! bugga

Just ordered a load of service parts from aj sutton,

Spark plug
oil filter
new oil plug and washer
air filter

also cannot belive that a stardnd pipe is more than a pm tuning, so a PM tuning pipe will be on order by end of the week!

Should be spanking the scoot around soon can't wait.

It's killing me that i cannot ride it as no tax or insurance docs yet!!

Well rear end of habana panels aRE off now, but can't get the one's off under the seat to get to any thing. the pillion foot rest brackets need to be removed and they are ceased tight,

Wd4o'd everything up now just need to get them undone to do the plug and filter chANGE.

I CAN SEE IT BEING ANGLE GRINDER TIME !!! LOL

Gaz is taking the van, too much ISC stuff to get on a scoot.

I'm in the middle of respraying mine, red, black and carbon fibre

All back together and running!done a nice 25 mile cruise , realy comfy scoot!

However a slight oil leak, can't seem to put my finer on where from, when I am riding it is getting on the rear hub and wheel, so need to get it fixed before I take it out agen.

Also needs new brakes as doesn't stop very well! lol

Stopping isn't important, so long as it goes

Best way to find the oil leak, give the engine a good clean and go for a 5min ride, park up and see if you can spot where it's coming from. Don't forget to check the oil seals too.

Think it coming from the sump!, have put on some castrol fully synth prob alot thinner than the 11 year old oil that was in there, rekon the sump seal may have deteriated.

Check the bolts behind the stator are still tight and haven't worked loose, you could try some leak stop, but it can clog oil passages with disastrous effect's

The gasket (if it isn't just sealant) may have dried out, might stop leaking once it's had time to absorb some oil.

it's been going for a good 48 hours, Gonna take it to reedspeed for some professional work, get them to sort out oil and brakes before MERSEA MASH UP!!!!! lol

Yeah, I am fella. I'll be going straight from Swansea Fri Morning, will take 8-9 hours Got to visit Reedspeed myself next week, need a dyno setup after the new 'zaust and cyl. The person who ported the cyl says he'll do the next one for free if it's less than 16hp

it's no Dragster but lovely to cruise on!
