How you doing.

Post by gamble on Thu Apr 21, 2011 3:53 am

Hi all, if you're on scootershack you've probably seen my posts dotted about. I'm Gamble, I'm 18 and live in Nottingham. I'm a job center special at the minute but just passed my SIA so hoping good comes from that sometime soon!

Currently riding a Piaggio Zip 50, completely standard Rolling Eyes (Standard Typhoon 125 engine that is) - only just got in on the road yesterday and I think it's probably the worst looking ped I've ever had but it goes well! Exhaust is utter crap and blowing so hoping to replace that soon but wanting to get some paint on it in the mean time.

Hoping to definitely get to the North Run this year, would like to possibly come to other meets if money and time allows and if I can some how get there with my terrible sense of direction! Laughing

It's alright mate, I'm looking to meet some riders and hopefully start getting out and a bit a little further.

Would be lovely to get my '50' on the dyno Very Happy but the exhaust at the minute is battered and blowing like a $20 Vietnamese long time lover! Desperate for another. Sad

Fitting the engine was simple, was all plumbed in and fully running in around 3 hours (including god knows how many breaks and helping my brother out with his car) - wiring was a bit of a ball ache but loom went in pretty well all thanks to my mate. Very Happy I would definitely recommend it as it's great fun and the scooter feels a lot better for having the bigger engine, one thing I would definitely recommend is a jack up kit ready for fitting the engine if you want to run the standard air box as clearance between the oil tap and air box is very little.

Hoping to get an exhaust etc then would love to put a 172 in it! Very Happy
